About:How to Apply for a China Visa

can I get a China visa with misdemeanor (lowest in my area), $50 fine, disturbing the peace, non-violent?

Will the Chinese embassy do a criminal record check?
I want to be honest, but I don't want to be denied.
I cannot go in person which many people have said is a tremendous help.
I am going to Teach English as a Foreign Language for children.

How much of a problem will this be?

Chinese embassy won't do a criminal record check, if you write you have a criminal record on the visa application form, your application is possibly denied.

You will go to China to teach English as a Foreign Language for children, foreigner employee should don't have a criminal record.
