Will the Chinese embassy do a criminal record check?I want to be honest, but I don't want to be denied.I cannot go in person which many people have said is a tremendous help.I am going to Teach English as a Foreign Language for children.How much of a problem will this be?

Chinese embassy won't do a criminal record check, if you write you have a criminal record on the visa application form, your application is possibly denied. You will go to China to teach English as a Foreign Language for children, foreigner employee should don't have a criminal record.
