About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Can you get a visa for China for when you finish working in Korea?

I know that you need 6 months left on your ARC card to get a visa for China from South Korea. But I finish working in South Korea next month and want to travel to China afterwards, is this possible? I have an Irish passport and won't be returning to South Korea afterwards.

Dara, the visa rule is not stable, now, you can call one of the travel agency designated by China embassy in Seoul or China consulate in Busan to enquire whether the ARC with at least 6 months validity is required or not. According to your situation, it is ridiculous to ask you to provide the ARC with at least 6 months validity.

If you can't get a China visa in South Korea, you can fly to Hong Kong and obtain a visa there, then enter Mainland China.
