About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

On our way home to Canada from Korea we want to get a visa to China

My Husband and I are currently teaching in South Korea. However, our contracts are up and on our way home to Canada we are making a stop in Beijing. Our Korean residency cards are not valid for another 6 months because our contracts are up and we won't be returning to Korea after China.

How can we go about getting a visa? We already have flights booked because we didn't think this would be an issue!

You can try to contact a travel agency designated by China embassy or consulate in South Korea to enquire the lastest visa policy. I know that you really don't need to renew the ARC because you won't return to Korea after the end of contract.

You can try to submit the application to one travel agency designated by China embassy or consulate:
1. your passport and copy of its data pages
2. one passport photo
3. filled visa application form V.2011A and V.2011B
4. the ARC and its copy
5. round-trip flight ticket
