how long is the validity of a double entry visa and how long is the maximum duration of each entry?

Generally speaking, a double entry visa is valid for 6 months, the maximum duration of each stay is 60 days. However, sometimes, China embassy/consulate may issue a double entry visa which is valid for only 3 months.
