A Malaysian holding a Singapore PR Applying for a visa into China

I am a Malaysian who lives and holds a Singapore PR. I will be visiting Xian in October then to Jiuzhaigou and then to Xiamen before flying back to Singapore from there. I do not have an outgoing air ticket to Xian just yet. My return ticket from Xiamen will be bought by my sister who resides in Beijing at the moment and whom I will meet and travel together. Can I apply for a visa now as I do not have much time?

Round-trip airline tickets and hotel reservation are required while applying for a China tourist visa in Singapore. I'm not sure if you can successfully get the visa without the requirements. You may try. Other requirements needed:
1. Original passport with at least two blank visa pages and the passport should be valid for at least six months.
2. completed and truly filled Visa Application Form (Form V2011A and V2011B) with a recent-taken passport photo stuck on it; if the applicant has a Chinese name, the Chinese name should be filled in.
3. Non-Singapore citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in the SPR, WP, EP, STP, DP.
