About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

Can U.S. Citizen get an expedited visa service in Switzerland?

I am a U.S. passport holder living in Switzerland and need visa by the week. Is this possible and if so what is the process. I absolutely need my passport by friday for travel.

You can try to apply for the rush service or express service at the China embassy in Bern or consulate in Zurich. For rush service, you have to submit visa application before 11:00, then you can pick up visa in the afternoon. For express service, it takes 2-3 working days.
