what is an original Visa Notification issued by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs?

I wanted to know what is the meaning of an original visa notification? is this the working visa page in my passport? working permit paper issued by foreign affairs or an invitation letter of duly Authorized Unit? I am really confused and I am running out of time.. I need my mother as my dependent visa to come here in china and take care of my baby.. Thank you so much for your reply.

an original Visa Notification refers to the invitation letter of duly Authorized Unit.

From January 1st, 2011, all applications for Business (F) or Working (Z) visas to China should be supported by the "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" instead of the "Visa Notification Form". The "Visa Notification Form" will be void by December 31st, 2010.

Your mother needs to apply for Z visa as your dependent family members. It can also be called Dependent Visa.
