Work Permit Notification for China - where do I process the paperwork in Tokyo?

I am Canadian. I got a job at an international school in Dalian, China.
Where in Tokyo do I process my documents for my Work Permit Notification? At the Chinese Embassy in Azabu? At the Consulate in Takanawa? Another location?

Sorry, but I'm not very clear what paperwork you are talking about. Usually, the employers help their employees get the work permit notification. Of course, you need to provide supporting documents.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. My employer doesn't know if it's the embassy or if it's the consulate in Tokyo for processing my Work Permit Notification,
