i am kazakhstan citizen came to guangzhou by tourist visa.

Question

Hi,I am Kazakhstan citizen came to Guangzhou by tourist visa. The L visa was given to me in 3rd August 2011 for 30 day stay with 1 entry. Can I extend or change current visa to another type not living China? If it is possipbe where should I go?Thanks!

You can try to extend the L visa at the Exit-Entry Adminsitrative Bureau of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau if you want to stay longer in China. It is hard for you to change your L visa into another type of visa. For example,  if you want to change L visa into F visa, you can do it  through some company that has guanxi 'relationship' with some person in the government.
