I am a UK Citizen in Japan with a tourist visa and want to apply for a China L or F Visa, what requirements?

I think it is hard for you to get a multiple entry L visa or F visa in Japan because you are a UK citizen in Japan with a tourist visa, but you can have a try, you'd better get an Invitation Letter if you want to apply F visa.

Following Linda's answer to my previous question would a 'Single Entry 6 Month' 'L' Type or 'F' Type Visa be possible? I have been led to believe that the Chinese Consulate will only issue 'L' Type visas to foreigners with Japan visas longer than 1year. Any feedback would be appreciated...

For applicants of u.k. citizen in Japan, it is possible for you to apply China L visa or F visa in Japan even though you don't have a Japan visa valid for more than 1 year. Maybe you only get a single entry L visa or F visa with 30 days stay duration.
