About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Can I store my baggage at the airport while transiting through shanghai?

I will be visiting shanghai for a day on Transit visa. Is there a possibility that I can store my luggage at the airport for a day while I visit and come back and do I have to go through customs to store my luggage?
