Did a Tourist Visa needed when you have a valid Hong Kong SAR passport

I hold a valid Hong Kong SAR Passport. I live in Vancouver Canada. In October I join a tour to visit Beijing and then back to Hong Kong for a short visit with my relative. Do I need to apply a tourist Visa to enter Beijing? Or I can use my valid Hong Kong SAR Passport when I go through the Custom of Beijing?

HK passport holders are required to apply for a Home Return Permit if they want to visit mainland China. And it can only be used to enter mainland China from HK. If you will go China from Canada, you need to apply for a tourist visa with your Canadian passport (or apply for a China Travel Document with your HK SAR passport) in advance through Chinese consulate in Vancouver.
