About:Shanghai Trains

Shanghai to Guangzhou via Wuhan in one day

The timetable implies it should be possible to travel from Shanghai to Guangzhou via Wuhan in a single day (0635 (Shanghai)-1227 (Wuhan), then on one of several trains in the afternoon). Question: Is this still likely to be possible on September 9? If so, how long a wait should one schedule in Wuhan?

Yes, it is possible since there are great many trains from Wuhan to Guangzhou. After reaching Wuhan at 12:27, you could take the train departing around 13:40 to Guangzhou, such as train G1067, G1003 and etc.
