About:China Customs Declaration

I wish to take a printer to china for my wifes family it is its org box and not been opened

Need to declare and pay the tax, 600RMB as I know. I've heard that the tax rate for those digital production has been reduced, so perhaps 300RMB for the duty of a printer.
