About:Chinese Embassies in Asia

Do I need a transit visa for stopover in Guangzhou by taking South China Airlines?

I am flying home Nepal from Japan with my Japanese misus and my son to Guangzhou. Do I need a transit visa as we already have a hotel booked outside airport?

Yes, a transit visa is required for your transit in Guangzhou because you will stay at a hotel outside the airport.
