About:China Consulate in Houston

Can a Mexican National traveling in Texas obtain Chinese Visa at the Houston Consulate?

Currently traveling in Texas for several weeks and looking to Travel directly from US to China, can I get the Visa at the Houston Consulate? How long does it usually take?

Do you have any of certificates or permit for residence, work, study in US or valid US visa? if yes, you can apply for a China visa in Houston. Otherwise, you need to apply in Mexico.
