If you want to obtain a Chinese tourist visa in Hanoi, you have to organize the following documents: 1. your original passport valid for at least 6 months and with at least 2 blank visa pages. The copy of data pages of your passport 2. fill in visa application form V.2011A, if you are not Vietnamese, you also need to fill in visa application form V.2011B 3. One passport photo 4. if you are not Vietnamese, the Vietnam visa or residence permit or other document to prove your legal status in Vietnam 5. round-trip flight tickets (if available)You can submit the application to China embassy in Hanoi in person or ask someone else to do it for you, it costs 30US$ for single entry tourist visa, it takes 4 working days for regular service.
