going to jiuzhaigouzhangjiajie in december, how about the weatherscenery?

Hi all, I'm planning going to Chengdu from Hongkong in December 2011. From Chengdu I have a plant to visit Jiuzhaigou and Zhangjiajie. Is it very cold to visit these sites in that time? how about the scenery in December, is it still enjoyable?Thanks for your kind information.

It is very cold and the tress, mountain and lakes are covered with snow. So, the scenery is less beautiful, for the most wonderful season is Sep-Oct. I should say it is quiet to visit in December. If you like the snow scenery there, go there! Wear winter down coat.
