About:China Great Wall

Visit the Great Wall of China from Guangzhou

I'll be in a business trip to Guangzhou soon. This will be my first visit to China and really want to see the Great Wall. Is there any part ofthe GReat Wall in Guangzhou or where is the nearest part? THanks very much.

You can find in Guangzhou and if you want to see the Great Wall, fly to Beijing.

We were in China in 2009 visiting wife's family in Guangzhou. Travelled to Beijing by train (approx 23 hours), although I believe there is a bullet train now which has cut the time to about 14 hours. It is well worth the effort to get to Beijing to see and walk on this magnificent piece of engineering history. Also worthwhile visiting Xi-an on the way back to marvel at the Terracotta Warriors. Absolutely loved my experience visiting this great country and will be visiting again next year!! Lovely people, beautiful country!!!

THe Great Wall is located in the Northern part of China while Guangzhou is in south China. I think you can take a flight from Guangzhou to Beijing and then take a train or bus to visit one of the sections of Wall there. Good luck~
