About:China Tourist Visa

Do I need any Invitation Letter from China for tourist visa?

I am a solo Bangladeshi tourist. I want to visit China without any tour operator’s help at the last week of July or at the first week of August 2011.
1. Do I need any Invitation Letter from China?
2. If yes, is it from the government or from any person?
3. How can I get the Invitation Letter?
Thank you.

You are required to travel to China with a group through a local travel agency, they can arrange an invitation letter for a China group visa. It is almost impossible for you to get an invitation letter from China unless you have relatives in China.
