About:Macau Travel

I'm a vietnamese citizen (vietnamese passport holder) and would like to travel to hong kong

and macau. Do I need to apply for both cities' visa in viet nam? Can I apply Macau's visa upon arrival? My plan is to fly to Hong Kong and take the ferry to Macau.

Yes, you need to get a Hong Kong visa and Macau visa to visit Hong Kong and Macau. You'd better get the two visas in advance in your country.
