About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

L visa extention in china

HI, I am planing to come china with L tourist visa, maybe 1 month or 3 month validity, from where i can extend more 9 month or 11 month if i have 1 month L visa, as i think each foreigner L visa can stay 1 year ,

I have done this when i stayed in china 2006-07 , i had difficulties as i have got extention through travel agents in china .please advise if there is good travel agencies or

HI, Again, i used to extend L visa, through travel agents, 3 month,each time, is it not possible to do so?is the extention rule change since 2008???

As for the Multiple entry visa, i think each month i should do exit and entry once,i prefere single or double entry and 1 year full stay??so which one is best choice?

are you Sure That With Multiple Entry Visa, i can stay 3 month without exit?, as i heard that multiple entry visa holder can stay maximum 1 month,Then Seems Multiple Visa Holder should stay either in shenzhen or wulumqi.

Generally, a single entry China tourist visa is valid for 3 months with duration of 30 days. It can be extended twice at local PSB in China, each for one month (and it may not be applicable for everyone). If you want to stay in China for a year, you'd better apply for a one year multiple entries China visa, F or L, Z visa if you will work in China. It is applicable to use a visa agency or travel agency for visa extension, be clear that the fee for their service is very expensive and you'd better make a search for one authorized. 3 month each extension is possible, but it is very rare case and depends on your condition in China. Mostly you will get a one more month each extension even go through travel agency. I am sure that you can not stay in China for a full year with a single entry or double entry visa. So, you'd better try to apply for a multiple entry visa, it may allow you to stay in China for 3 months each entry.

It is not true that multiple entry visa holder can stay maximum 1 month in China. I met someone with 3 months each entry. (But it may also be one month duration in some cases.) Shenzhen and Urumchi both are within mainland China. To exit China in between is simple as I know, so just choose Hong Kong or Macao as destination if you do not want to back to your country.
