Beijing to Kunming

Get a ride by any train From Beijing to Kunming what do you suggest?
How long is going to take? How much going to be? Total how many days? Do I have to stay over any city? Thank you very much. Grerk, Thailand

Two trains T61 & K471 are operating from Beijing to Kunming daily. It takes around 38hrs by train T61. One soft sleeper ticket on the train costs around CNY890. For more info., you could check on the web for details.
