About:Jiuzhaigou National Park

is the road from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou affected by the recent flood?

I am planing to go to Jiuzhaigou from Chengdu this July, 17th..but I heard that there was mudslide in Wenchuan county..so can anyone please let me know if we still can travel from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou by bus now?

Yes, part of the road is affected by the mudslide and the rainfall. So, suggest you fly from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou.

Yes the Wenchuan road was affected so all traffic now has to travel via Mianyang and Pingwu. That road was not affected and there is no need to take a flight if you don't want to.
