About:China Transit Visa

Hungarian passport holders transit in Shanghai. Do I need China visa for this?

Hello,
I am holding Hungarian passport. I just read that when you spend less than 48 hours in Shanghai (leaving the airport) you dont need any kind of visa. I will travel from Singapore to Shaghai and in 24 hours I will fly from Shanghai to Budapest. ( My country was on the exemption list). When I board in Singapore do I need to show my flight ticket between Shanghai to Budapest in order to prove that I am going to spend in Shanghai less than 24 hours? Thank you

Yes, you are not required visa if you will stay in Shanghai for less than 48 hours. But the air company may require your China visa when you board. So, you'd better prepare flight ticket from Shanghai to Budapest for this.
