Please i will want to know if there is train from Guangzhou to Dali, and how many hours does it take?Also if one wants to hire a car from Kunming to Dali, how much does it cost?Thanks Chinedu

There is no train from Guangzhou to Dali. You should go to Kunming from Guangzhou by air or train, and then transfer to Dali.There is no need to hire a car driving to Dali since the public buses and trains are frequent running to Dali from Kunming.
