I am Indian Citizen in Manila on a work visa, do I need to show bank balance for China visa?

Hi I am living in Manila on a work visa but am an Indian passport holder. Indians are required to show 150000 rupees as a bank balance for Chinese Visa. Is this true ? Also, if it is true, Do I need to show funds in Philippine currency or the funds can be shown in my account in the bank of India.

yes, it is true, Indian Passport holders applying for first time Tourist Visa are required to submit Original Bank Certificate with minimum balance of Rs 1.5 lacs.

However, now you are in Manila, the visa rule is different, you can provide the funds in Philippine currency, but it is not mandatory. maybe the bank certificate is not required.
