About:China Great Wall

how far away is the great wall from Yantai China?

I will be in Yantai for 3 weeks starting next week, and am wondering when I have free time on weekends if I can go visit the great wall.

Yes, I think it is possible in weekend. It is about 1019km by train from Yantai to Beijing, 14 hours or so. There is one direct train leaving from Yantai at night. That will be better if you fly to Beijing from Yantai.
