Hello! We are from Chicago and following our client, Wei Chen, Wei Around the World, for pr. We arrive in Hong Kong on the 3rd and will be staying in Shenzhen. What is the cheapest and safest mode of transportation? Also, we travel from Shenzhen to Changsha, again, train or plane better? What is the cost, how much time should we allow?

You can make full use of the public bus and  subway for travelling around in Shenzhen.  From Shenzhen to Changsha, the best way is by air.  It takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The full airfare ticket is CNY1440 for the first class and CNY860 for the economy class.  If you book the air ticket in advance, you may get a discount price.  If you take train from Shenzhen to Changsha, it takes more than 10 hours.
