zhangjjiajie to chongqing by train

Question

I understand I will have to change at Huaihua to get from Zhang jiajie to Chongqing, How can I get the train tickets for this trip? Will a hotel in Zhangjiajie be able to buy them for me? I will be in Zhangjiajie for about 3 nights. I also need tickets for Chongqing to Chengdu.

Yes, there are no direct trains from Zhangjaijie to Chongqing and you need to make a transfer at Huaihua. For the tickets from Zhangjiajie to Huaihua, you could let the hotel in Zhangjiajie to arrange the tickets for you. For the tickets for Chongqing to Chengdu, you could book the tickets online or buy them at the train station directly.
