Application for Tourist Visa as German Citizen in India

Hello,

I am staying for an internship in Bangalore, afterwards, in October, I want to visit China, especially Shanghai. Because of limited time and movement abilitiy, I wanted to ask whether I can send my application form and passport per courier to apply for a visa. Or is it mandatory that I have to do it personally? I am German citizen!

Bangalore, Karnataka State is under the consular districts of China consulate in Mumbai, you need submit visa application to China Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) in Mumbai, the CVASC in Mumbai doesn't accept application by mail, you need to send your application form and passport in person or ask someone else to submit them. The valid Indian visa is also required to show your status in India.
