travelling with medication in transit through Hong Kong airport, any issues?

I will be in transit in Hong Kong airport for 7 hours and will carry medication with me in a cooler as hand luggage, I have medical certificate to confirm my medical condition. I need to know urgently (I am travelling on 26 June) from Australia to Hong Kong with final destination Italy.

If you have onward boarding pass, I think you just have to do a security check with your medical certificate and travel documents.
