Can I apply Z visa without going back to my country?

hi, i am holding L Visa now i get the new job in China. can i apply my F visa to Z visa without go back my country ,i am from indonesia

It is almost impossible to change your L visa directly into Z visa within Mainland China, you have to return to Indonesia to apply Z visa to work in China.
