About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I live in South Korea, but my visa is extended for 6 months only, can I get a visa to China for attending a conference?

I am a foreigner who studies in South Korea, but my visa is extended for 6 months only every time, and after extension it takes few days to reach me, so basically i will have less than 6 months in my visa. Please advice me about the possibility of going to china to attend a conference with less than 6 month visa.

You have to enquire one of the designated travel agencies about the new visa rule. The travel agency is familiar with the new China visa application rule. If the embassy still asks non-korean applicants to provide Korean visa or alien registration card with at least 6 months remaining validity, you can't get a visa to China to attend the conference.
