About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I want to travel in China for 45 days. Is it possible to get an L-VISA for that length or time?

I want to travel in China for about 45 days. Is it possible to get an L-VISA in Australia for that length or time or can you only get it for 30 days and then renew it in China?

You should apply for the extension 7 days earlier before your visa expires and extend it at the exit and entry administration of the local public security bureau.

Yes, duration of China single entry tourist visa is 30 days. You can extend it when you are in China. Or, you can also apply for a double entry tourist visa instead.
