About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

Hong Kong I.D

I with my wife both are immigrant from Hong Kong 30 years ago, & we are citizen in Hong Kong, and now we have two childen who are 18 years older & up born in Canada, Can we apply the Hong Kong Identification for them, and in Vancouver B.C. or we have to go back to Hong Kong to apply. & what kinds of document we have to provide.

Yes, you can apply for a HKSAR passport for your children from abroad, and they will also be required to apply for a permanent identity card if they do not already have one. Just submit applications to the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General in person. The consulate will mail your application to HK immigration department.
