How much is both, single and return ticket. How long last the trip from hk to Kunming. Can I buy an open ticket for a period of 1 to 3 months? Departure end July. Can I buy the ticket in HK?

There are no direct trains available from Hong Kong to Kunming. But you could take a through train to Guangzhou fist and then take another train to Kunming. For the train tickets from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, you could buy them directly in Hong Kong. About the tickets on Guangzhou-Kunming route, you could purchase at Guangzhou train stations or arrange them online in advance. And not like air tickets, there are no open train tickets. And the departure date should be a fixed one.
