About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

As a UK citizen, can I get a Chinese visa in Hanoi?

I have read on a few websites that you have to be a Vietnamese citizen to get a visa in Hanoi and non-Vietnamese have to go to Ho Chi Minh City. Is this true?

Yes, non-Vietnamese applicants should go to Ho Chi Minh city to apply for China visa.
