visa for offical visit to China from the Embassy in Qatar

I am Egyptian Professor work in the United Nations in Kenya (have UNLP). I already have an invitation to visit the Ministry of Science and Technology in China (addressed to the Chinese Embassy in Kenya), however because I am in Qatar next week, Can I present the invitation letter and my UN passport to the Chinese Embassy in Doha and get my visa here., thanks
