Requirements for applying student visa in China

Hi im filipino studying in a chinese school in shanghai. And the school will provide me visa but there is a problem processing my visa. I have a working visa now and the school said i need to transfer my working visa to tourist visa which is by applying outside china. As i've heard from fellow filipino most of the visa issuance in other countries are already closed. So this time its hard for me to apply tourist visa. So what im thinking is i want to apply the student visa in Philippines if it is possible. What is the requirements needed from school and from me to submit in the embassy? And how long is the processing? Thanks!

Is there any requirements i should provide aside from what u send me coz i dont want to lose any unnecessary time as the school would just allow me to be away just for a short period of time. I need the whole details regarding with the requirements so that i can bring everything needed when i apply in philippines. Thanks!

For less than 6 months study in Shanghai, China, your school should give you two documents:
1. An original admission notice from the Chinese school
2. original Visa Invitation Letter issued by Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office

Once you have the two documents, you can return to Philippines to apply F visa for less than 6 months study.
You also need to prepare your original passport, one recent passport photo, A truly and completely filled application form.
