About:Chinese Embassies in Asia

How can I obtain a Chinese visa in Phnom Penh, as an American passport holding citizen?

Our flight leaves from HCMC on May 24th.

Why don't you apply Chinese visa from China Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City? It is easier to get a visa in HCMC than in Phnom Penh. As I know, non-Cambodian applicants should provide valid Cambodian residence permit or visa with at least 6 months validity. Your application maybe denied in Phnom Penh.
