i am keen to visit great wall at huangyaguan from tianjin & would like to start early in

I would like to start early in the morning (around 7-7.30 am) from the hotel. Could you please help me with the time it would take to go there, spend adequate time at the Great Wall and come back to the hotel.I am open to go in a group tour as well. I do not understand Mandarin, hence would need English speaking guide. Can you please let me know how much would it cost for the entire trip in a rental car and also in group tour.

I don't know the price for a group, but if you rent a car or taxi from Tianjin to Huangyangguan, the fare should no be less than 400-500RMB. BY public transportation, you can take bus at the long-distance bus station in Jianchang Road, Hebei District of Tianjing to Jixian County first, 3 hours. Then take a taxi about 50RMB to the Great Wall.
