About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Dear Sirs, May I get my Chinese Visa done in Singapore?I live in Johor Bahru

Dear Sirs,

May I get my Chinese Visa done in Singapore?
I live in Johor Bahru, which is some 400 km. from Kuala Lumpur. To travel to Kuala Lumpur and back just to submit an application is 800 km. Then ,another round trip of yet another 800 km to collect the passport from the Chinese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. So it is a really serious impediment to travel to PRC for the purposes of business - negotiate and discuss deals and, cum- leisure.

We shall be obliged if the Chinese Embassy can help out : will the Embassy process our visa application submitted in Singapore by my wife who holds a Singapore passport? Is it necessary for me to be present at the the Embassy at the time of (1) submission ,(2) at the collection?

In past trips, we had to wait in Hong Kong for days to get our visa done - which means enforced stay in Hong Kong . We will need 2 visit per six months. Many thanks.

Do y ou have documents that entitle you to reside for an extended period of time in the SPR, WP, EP, STP, DP? if yes, your wife can apply for you visas to China in Singapore. But if not, you have to apply in your country through Chinese embassy or CVASC over your area of residence. Personal appearance is only needed when required.
