Can I get a Visa to visit China in one day?

I like to apply for a visa to visit Beijing for a holiday. Can I get the visa in one day and if so what is the cost? Can I also make an appointment to visit your Embassy tomorrow or is it possible to submit on line so that I can travel about while my application is in process?

If you hold Singapore passport, you are not required visa to China for business or sightseeing if you will stay in China for less than 30 days.
