Can US citizens on vistit visa to Sausi Arabia apply for chineese business visa?.

I am an American citizen, currently in Saudi Arabia on a visit visa. I would like to apply for business visa to China. I read the application form and it asked for employer information and as I am already a visitor here, how will this process work?. Can someone please tell me how should I go about it?. I am planning to start my own business here in saudi arabia and my main purpose is to visit businesses there and find the products that I can bring here and only then apply for business license. Can someone please provide their insight?. Thanks.

Chinese embassy there only issue visas to foreigners who work/reside in Saudi Arabia (only for long-term residents of third country nationals). And all applications should be through either Chinese Competitive Spirit Co. or Al Sandross International Est. So, you may contact them first for details if they can help.
