Visiting China to marry Chinese citizen

Hello,
I am an Australian citizen, intending to go to Changsha, China late September 2011 and stay for no longer than 12 days. I want to marry my Chinese fiancé while I am there and return to Australia with her to live permanently. Could you please advise what procedures I need to follow to make this happen, and what visa's will be required for both myself and my partner?
Thank you kindly for your help and advice.

You need to get a single status certificate in Australia, then authenticated by Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or its representative office in the state/territory of your residence, at last authenticated by Chinese embassy/consulate in Australia.

You need a tourist visa (L) to go to China
