About:China Visa Fees

Visit China and Hongkong

I plan to visit China and Hongkong in May. I am told that I need to have a separate Visa for China and Hongkong. Please clarify this so that i apply for the appropriate VISA.

Yes, you need to have a separate visa for Mainland China and Hong Kong because they apply different exit and enter controls. However, Kenya passport holders enjoy 90 days visa free exemption to Hong Kong, so you don't need a visa to Hong Kong, you just need to apply for China visa to Mainland China.
