is it feasible to get beihai hotel on the same day after arriving huangshan airport?

Hi,I'm planning to take flight from Shanghai to Huangshan airport. will arrivve Huangshan airport at 15:25.Is it feasible to get Beihai hotel on the same day? how to get there if we can't catch up the last cable car to the mountain?Thanks,Frank

I advise you book the hotel in advance in order that you have a pleasing trip there. You are right that you may not catch the last cable car to the mountain, since it takes about 2 hours from Huangshan airport to Huangshan Scenic area and the cable car operates 06:30-16:30. I think you have to climb the mountain yourself then.
