About:How to Buy Tickets

Is it possible to buy return tickets from a departing station? Also, I hear that one can now buy tickets at the Beijing West Station for trips departing from other cities (specifically, Xian and Shanghai). Is it true?

Yeah, it is possible to buy a return ticket at the departure station, which are mainly stations in some provincial capitals. And you can buy the return tickets between Xian and Shanghai at Beijing West Railway Station.
