About:Shanghai Cruise Ports

Hi. My husband & I are arriving at Baoshan on the 11/06/2011. We are wanting to travel to Beijing same day & was wondering about the train to there Has anyone done this & was it enjoyable & economical, compared to flying. We thought it would be a nice way to see more of the country as well. How do you go about booking. Thanking you,anxiously awaiting a reply.

It is economical to take train from Shanghai to Beijing, but the bullet train between them takes about 10 hours which is a long time. Anyway, it is OK if you want to do so. For the details about the train, you may look here: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ . I think you have no need to book the train ticket. You can buy it upon your arrival.
